I have some data on the removal of a truck dock in Muskegon County, Michigan but I am not sure its specific cost is broken out in the project's cost estimates. It was part of a conversion. If it will help I can look it up. But I do not want to go to the trouble since it is the inverse of your situation and if it will do you no good. The data is about a year old. Let me know
Not all truck wells are created equal. Therefore not all cost the same. Depends in part on the size of the trailers and the amount of room there is for the ramp. If the slope of ramp is more than about 11 degrees you may have to heat it and put in grooving for traction in you neck of the woods. Also at more than about 5 or 6 degrees forklifts start to have traction problems. Will it have load leveler? Weather shield? Will the building foundation have to be modified. For just the well probably $10 to $15/sf. Nothing like discovering that you've got to dig out a car sized boulder or blast out solid rock to drive up the cost.
Good a discussion! My proposed truck well will have a grade less then 11 degrees, its 54 ft long and 15 wide. It will need to have levelers and a weather shield. Both the foundation of the manufacturing area and office area will have to be modified, given the well would have to be excavated and a storm sewer added for drainage.
