Anybody in Knoxville read todays (4/27) Property Scope in the Sentinel? I was suprised to read that Rocky Top Realty was closing. I know the residential market is slow (though some uptick for Spring), but, didn't think it was that bad. The broker indicated that one of his agents had made less than $1,000 after making a consistent $200,000 per year. I wonder more and more if the residential market is worth effort as I turn down 2 to 3 assignments per week for $200 fees. It has just gotten ridiculous when consider your time, overhead and GREATLY increased liability. Just my $0.02 worth.:fiddle:

Hate to hear that, but unfortunately they are not the first, and probably not the last. There is definitely a thinning of the herd going on on all levels of the residential world.

I keep hearing about how things are getting better, but from everything I see on my appraisals, its' not! Any better up your way?

Slight increase for Spring. Nothing to write home about. Foreclosure work is still the bulk of my resideential buisiness.
