Appraisal Form - 1004 Hybrid/70H - Appraiser Compensation: $125
Appraisal Form-1004 + REO Addendum - Appraiser Compensation: $255
Appraisal Form- 1073 - Appraiser Compensation: $255

Clear Capital is one of 3 elite AMCs chosen by Fannie REO to handle their assignments. $255 is a C & R fee and appraisers should be appreciative of their generosity. Clear Cap will pocket the difference in what was previously an excessive $450 appraisal fee. Fannie pays premium fees and salaries to anyone affiliated with them. It’s been several months since anyone with Fannie has been arrested for mortgage fraud or related crimes, they’re moving up in the lending world.

The disgusting part is that they will find appraisers to accept those fees. As long as there are appraisers willing to work cheaply, the AMCs aren't going to offer more.

That they just might be the low fee appraiser....
