I'll be doing another tax appraisal. I typically do it on a GPAR for that ACI provides. A buddy of mines uses Wintotal and says that he uses sometype of shortform of a GPAR. Anyone have any idea which this would be in ACI?
Thanks in advance.

I never saw anyone have a great deal of luck submitting appraisals to refute assessments. The argument is always that the appraisal is Made As Instructed no matter what the certifications say.

I do think that understanding how the assessors work and checking to see if they have reduced the effective age or boosted the quality rating is the first step to challenging the appraisal by the assessor.

Forms is forms... write a pretty narrative

I can't help with the form, but, any appraisal--no matter how "short--has to have the same eleven elements as found in Standards Rule 2-2. Thus, if you don't find that "shortform", don't worry about it.

In my parts, the Property Appraiser has a presumption of correctness. The petitioner must prove the property appraiser wrong. As a Special Magistrate who hears these petitions for our county, I can tell you that an appraisal is worthless without an appraiser standing next to it (otherwise it is here say evidence), and secondly, an appraisal does not prove the property appraiser wrong. You must find fault in the assessment process.

I'm not sure what the process is where you are, but you may check first!
