Sketch software recommendation

I need a recommendation for sketching software. Ease of use and simplicity in learning are important. This is for my desktop. WINSKETCH or AreaSketch? My RapidSketch has disappeared from my computer. Thoughts?

Since finding it, I've always used Apex.

Your RapidSketch is probably still there...... somewhere. Finding it might be a challenge.

They'll all be obsolete for mortgage related appraisal work by next year this time. And even for non-mortgage related work, I think that once appraisers familiarize themselves with the new technology - they'll probably adapt that for all their residential sketching needs.

You can still find downloads of Rapidsketch. If you have your original serial number you should be able to register it, even though they are out of business. I just downloaded a copy from Cnet for my new computer and was able to use the serial number from my original download.

If it was the original computer when you bought RapidSketch, then the .exe file is still there.

You can reinstall but you have to find your 'code', which was in the form of an email.

I upgraded to a W11 computer and successfully transferred my RapidSketch over, along with all my files.

wow, Dublin and I had the SAME comment lol

Yep, this is about to change rapidly with the new LiDar enabled inspection apps. I'd wait a bit before committing to some out of date Windows desktop sketch software.

Used Winsketch for literally decades and easy peazy, never knew anything that was better although I have used Apex and it worked fine too.
