I would like to start a thread calling on all South Carolina VA Appraisers. I think it would be to our benefit if we had more ongoing conversation addressing VA specific issues..

Anything that involves VA Appraisals is worth discussing. Any special requirements that the Atlanta RLC is looking for ?? Any areas of concern as far as Zoning in certain counties ??

Are there certain Lenders that are slow pay ?? I notice the Fees are a little less in SC and Tennessee than they are in Georgia and NC.....are we due for a slight raise here ??

2009 was the last fee adjustment in TN. Need anybody say more relative to that. Maybe some politicians who claim to love our veterans so much could chime in.

The dang bottom of the market didn't even fall out til 2009 or 2010 in many areas of TN.

That 2009 deal is messed up, even if they are taking care of our veterans medically and in other ways. That is approaching 6 years. Don't think they have not lost some of the most qualified appraisers to provide services for veterans as a result.

South Carolina and Tennessee should at least be on par with the other States in the Atlanta RLC. It's certainly not any easier Appraising in these 2 States than it is in GA and NC.

Is there a way to get a headcount as to the number of VA Roaster Appraisers in each State ?? In each County ??

it is just messed up, and I love the people I deal with in Atlanta. It is over their head. The people I deal with in the VA in Atlanta probably deserve a raise too, instead of the money going somewhere else. 2009, come on? That is just not right, considering all market conditions in TN and SC since then. I don't know if all states in the Atlanta RLC were last adjusted in 2009 or not, but I know that is too long ago for TN for many reasons.

I'm wondering how we would go about getting a Fee Discussion started with Atlanta ?? How did it come about in 2009 ??
Back in the Cleveland RLC the Fee Increase just came about last year with no prior questions.
