I recently graduated with a B.S. in Business, and I am interested in pursuing a career as an appraiser. There are open positions in the county I live in currently that require temporary certification as an appraiser. From what I have read online to qualify for this you need a job offer and a bachelors degree. Has anyone gone this route in their road to becoming an appraiser? If you begin by working in a county position are you able to get the 2000 hours of training needed after the first year? Any insight on this is helpful.
