Our own formunite just published a book. Congratulations Terrel !!!
When/where/how do you hold your mineral rights classes?

The Appraisal of Mineral Rights is a meant as a guide to valuing minerals, particularly oil and gas properties, as real property interests. Most valuation books related to mineral rights focus on setting values for industry specialists. Those emphasize the techniques that oil and gas professionals apply when creating documents for SEC filings, or internal valuation related to deciding which prospects to drill. This work is intended for the appraiser, the real estate agent, and the average mineral owner who needs a valuation that can be used for internal estate management, for valuation related to estate or income taxes, or to evaluate an offer made to purchase the mineral right.

Two of the top three posters in the same room? That should be interesting...

Congratulations Terrel, maybe Wayne will add it to the forum bookstore at the top of this site?

Fly into State College next Wednesday the 22nd and I'll pick you up on the way to the Williamsport class.

I heard the venue is nice, pretty fresh rooms, all built for the masses of O&G workers up there.

Are you bringing copies of your book to class for sale?

I guess he better. Congrats Terrel. :clapping:
I'm sure the book would go right over my head.
I hope it sells out and goes to a second pressing.
The biggest thing I remember about geology is,
Don't take Granite for Granted. :leeann:
Also I have some small facts about mountains, earthquakes, landslides, tsunamis, methane hazard zones, fire, water, etc. :peace:

A signed copy of Terrel's masterpiece would make a great gift....beats the heck out of getting a crappy Christmas t-shirt gift from an AF member........LOL :clapping:
