Hi,

Must the trade/model information be entered on FHA appraisal for manufactured home? I’m reviewing an appraisal. The HUD tag is located outside, but the HUD Data Plate was not present. Appraiser indicated source for information was from manufactured home affidavit of retirement of title certificate. All information was entered (i.e. serial #, HUD cert #’s, etc.) except for information for trade/model. Just making sure if I need to request document from IBTS to verify this piece of information as well.

Did the appraiser include a copy of the affidavit in the report? I always include that and require the Lender to get the verification certificate with the thermal zones, roof load, etc. Sometimes they do a rush and send to me so I can put a that information in the report. Maybe appraiser did it "subject to" and Lender has it in file?
