It's been a while since I've had to do this, but I'm installing WinTotal on a new workstation (runs from a server) and I don't remember how to export my Quicklists from the other workstation and bring them to the new.

Help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

A public thankyou is in order, as one of the sales reps for Alamode browses the boards and felt the need to call me up and explain how to do this using their Vault utility.

Thanks Joe!

What does the vault service have anything to do with it?
You can export and import all you want without extra services.

If they did not use the built in features for transporting the quick list, they have not really provided a service, but sold you on something else.

The kicker is this: a new PC on a networked (shared) installation of WinTotal means you don't need to copy the quicklist from the server.
It is shared to ALL computers connected to your network.

I actually have the vault services already - I use it to back up all my client contact information and keep it up to date with other remote appraisers that work for me.

Second part of that is he mentioned the same thing about the Quicklists kicking in on a newly installed copy, however for whatever reason none of my installations do that... and I don't much feel like reinstalling the server's WT installation just to have Quicklists auto distribute.

However, if you've got documentation on the manual export, I'd be curious to get that as well.
