I just spoke to some representative who were very helpful over at Trend regarding inaccurate MLS info. I was told that if we do see inaccurate MLS data to report it using the target button on the MLS. Apparently they do active seek out accuracy issues reported by appraisers in order to correct data. So if you see something wrong or hear different from the agent please report it, so many agent are getting lazy about their listing data.

I have reported countless errors in living area sizes, lot sizes, room count, etc. to Agents with only 1 out of 10 ever saying thank you and thus changing it. I've even sent them sketches and surveys I have from previously having done the properties. Yet, they still put the sizes that the Owner tell them to put. There should be a nationwide MLS clause that states you can not put down Owner as the source of living area or lot size without posting info to back it up within the listing, period.

I too have reported hundreds of errors to TREND. I once asked for a discount on my fee due to my time spent reporting inaccurate data. Never received a response. It would be nice if they mandated at least one photo for each listing. Amazing how many agents list properties without including even one photo. And they get the listing. Incredible.

Not a fan of Zillow, but if you read their book you can see how much an agents listing effects the price. Their are some incredibly bad Agents (with attitudes) in this area, I just got threatened for redlining by defining a market area.
