maybe it just pushes a few "Markers" around and a few of those are somewhat incorrectly linked to age and some go up and some go down.
AKA "cherry picking" or similar to the old Stock Broker scam where you cold call 32 marks and tell 16 a certain stock will go up, and the other half it will go down, then you call back the 1/2 of the group where you guessed right and repeat until you've been "right" a few times in a row and your Mark thinks you actually have good advice.
