Me sees Casinos and Custom home sites being prepared for the tribes members :) HEY MAYBE they will need a land Appraisal- this is Terrill's chance to do the big one : )

Interesting for the signers of the Treaty of Fort Laramie in 1868 which promised land including the Black Hills of SD to the Sioux & Arapaho. Because the terms were not honored by the US, the Sioux took the case to the Supreme Court, which sided with them in 1980. The plaintiffs were offered $1 billion but turned it down, demanding the land be returned instead.

I also wonder because this started as a criminal case, how crimes on this Okla native land will be prosecuted. Native women are crime victims in far greater proportion than women elsewhere. Where the feds are in charge of prosecution, performance has been lacking.

The Fed's are not good at local type prosecutions, their mostly white collar, dont like to get their hands dirty types. I have only had experience with A Tribe In Arizona where we used to stay in a mining town which was adjacent to the Reservation. The local water hole called Juniors was the to be place at night and three or four Indians woudl show up every night, a lot of fights, Only one local Deputy and he did not arrest an-Indian no matter what he did, the same with the Indian Tribal Police, As far as women, don't know about other tribes but the Mojaves I encountered treated them like dogs, of course the alcohol and drugs didn't help. I highly doubt an-FBI agent would have the Cajones to even go into the Reservation-because, they did not like outsiders and nobody talks or confesses to a crime. The biggest problem I can see for Oklahoma is every, two bit criminal will be claiming he is 1/100th American Indian.
