Upgrading to Adobe Acrobat 8.0 Standard

Can I upgrade a PC running Adobe Acrobat Exchange 3.0 with a copy of Adobe Acrobat 8.0 Standard Upgrade???

I have the original Adobe Acrobat Exchange 3.0 disc and case with serial number from 1998!

I would much rather pay $99 to upgrade instead of $299 for an all new copy of Adobe Acrobat 8.0 Standard.

I don't know.

Adobe gives you 2 seats for $299. I have it on 2 different desktops. For my notebook I bought this. It almost does everything Adobe does for 20 bucks...I doubt I'll buy Adobe again...

Sounds like Pdf995Suite for $19.95 would be an upgrade you might like.

Thanks, I am looking into CutePDF as well as the two programs listed above. I am hoping to find a program that will create lockable PDFs through ACI.

Oh and I found out that Acrobat 3.0 CANNOT be upgraded to version 8.0 so I would need to buy the full $299 program instead of the $99 upgrade. I see some full versions on eBay for $160+/- but who knows if they fell off a truck or not.
