Waterford Landing Condos, Orlando

Anybody here familiar with what's REALLY going on at Waterford Landing Condos, Orlando? I have an invetigator asking:

What do you know or hear about the Condo Conversion at Waterford Landing Condominium owned by Legacy Conversions at Waterford ? Project address 2550 N. Alafaya Trail, Orlando , FL 32826 . They have units currently on the market for 230-250k 967 sqft. I have a few of these loans on my desk and have some issues with the origination being Non-Arm’s Length. I suspect the owners are manufacturing a market for the development. Also, for each of the loans the originator hired an appraiser out of Miami ?

I keep hearing commercials on the radio advertising free cruises and the like if this is the same Waterford Landing Condos.

I haven't done one in there but looking at the owners records most are from out of the area, many from south florida, maybe that is why they want a south florida appraiser. If that doesn't send up a RED FLAG nothing does!!!!!!!!!!!!
