I don't know about the rest of you guys and gals. But, I seem to have a slowdown in orders today. I did notice that the number of applications was down last week. That is probably why. What say you?

All is well.I hope

It had been my first slow week in a while. I was starting to get a bit worried then I got a slew of orders in yesterday afternoon. I'm hoping the HVCC will have minimal impact on my business. Time will tell, I guess.

I spoke with both of my primary clients who said, we have been told not to order any more appraisals until they "sort this thing out."

I had been sending them hvcc information for the last couple of weeks and asking them what course they would take.

I told them both we can still do FHA without the code and later I got an FHA order from them.

As of today I still don't work for any AMC's and I hope I don't ever have to. For the next month I will just sit and see how it all shakes out. The last 2 months have been my busiest in years so I need some down time anyway.

My hope is that the whole thing crashes without the IVPI and the AMC's scrambling to procure skippies with the current low rates and high activity.

I truly believe that in a month we will have a bunch of ****ed off lenders, realtors, brokers, and borrowers. Then things will start to happen.

I sure hope so. The last thing I want is AMC work.
