I was driving up 395 about a month ago, which wanders into CA before Carson City. I noticed CA was about $2/gal higher than NV.
Maybe someday, CA will join the Union and stop exporting their pollution.

Whazzer name? Alex Wenger CNN analyst or pretender otherwise some such. Giving the back hand to Trump and complaining about him winning the election. "Good luck pushing oil and gas" as if the end of the world. Supposedly to her, the "red states" would suffer massive drought, heat waves, floods, hurricanes, etc. because Solar and wind were not adopted and he said, "Drill baby Drill".
2 years and so far, floods about the same, heat about the same, no tornado or hurricane increase. The corals are growing and we haven't wasted BILLIONS upon BILLIONS in bird frying solar plants or subsidizing Spanish windmill farms and forcing power companies to buy the juice even when they don't need it and have to shut it off to keep from overloading the grid.
Now the latest from the IPCC (International Panel on Climate Change) has come out and said the RCP 8.5 scenario all the media seizes upon is dead wrong and not only unlikely but impossible. Further, they have downplayed the damage that a slightly warming earth poses to the world. The population bomb was a dud and the prediction by a so-called scientist that humanity in 2026 would perish (spoken 10 years earlier) is a laughable joke from a pseudo-scientific hack.
Meanwhile dodge those falling windmill blades. Maryland USA.
