Who Covers Scottsdale?

Pat, just Google search Scottsdale Arizona real estate appraisers. There's at least 5 or 6 there.

if I was looking for an appraiser I would probably ask for a referral before I just asked google. the original poster could also just go to the AZBOA website and select any of the 1000 appraisers in Maricopa county who likely all cover Scottsdale.

True, and I totally forgot to post what I wanted to say. Just call several of the local Brokers - not just the Agents; and ask them for Appraiser recommendations. They know which ones are better than others.

The name is certainly familiar. There was an ILL guy on this forum who had a website that basically promised 'to make the value' for lenders. He eventually changed it. I can't recall the name of the person off hand, so I'm suspect using someone from ILL who I don't otherwise know.

I know James Sturm. He would never post something like that and would never promise to make value. He is a highly ethical individual and appraiser. He did move to Arizonia, but I am not certain what portion he resides in.
