Why doesn't Voxtur use Anow

Just curious if anyone knows why Voxtur (which owns Anow), doesn't use Anow similar to how UWM does for soliciting orders, and instead uses a dated and quirky portal? My limited experience from an appraiser's perspective is that I like being assigned orders through Anow much better, and hate the plethora of independant portals with more usernames to track, and passwords to periodically change, and roundabout quirky ways to communicate with different clients which isn't always clear. I know there are other portals like Mercury and Reggora which work pretty well, but was just curious.

I do not accept UWM assignments through ANOW anymore, because they are able to see my workload, average fees, etc. One of their solicitors told one of my competitors my average fees for an assignment they were trying to land. Ticked me off, so I pulled that plug.

I use ANOW for my business, so I complained to them. They said it was part of their system agreement with UWM.

They are a worthless company. Don’t waste your time…all they do is waste your time. I just dropped them

Do you accept UWM assignments?
If so-how do you avoid using ANOW?

I just got asked to be a part o UWM and cant find any way in other than to pay $40/month to ANOW.. which i have ZERO use for.

No. They have no other portal.

I know this isn't Mercury Network, but reminded me of an order bid request.

I bid on a Mercury Network request. My bid was not accepted. I called the mortgage department to inquire. Asked if it was my fee or submittal date. They said it wasn't my fee, but because mercury has timeliness percentage, they went with another appraiser.

Yes, I have a problem with not meeting due dates.

anow was a terrible portal from my experience. it wasn't originally designed for appraisers. the loan people at uwm didn't like it either. there was talk of having their own portal, but i guess that was talk.

I thought UWM went through their own unlicensed AMC subsidiary, UWM Appraisal Direct. Has that changed?

Last I heard, appraisers can’t accept or transmit UWM assignments without ANOW.

I use ANOW for my business, and they shared our workload and average fee information with UWM. I was uncomfortable with that, and had a long talk with ANOW but there was no resolution.

I made a business decision. If they change, I’d reconsider. They’ve asked us to help them many times, but they’ve not changed yet.
