How is everyone's work load the for the first part of 2018?

If you scroll down in this sub-forum, in 2010 you will see I posted a similar thread. LOL.

Horrible. Enough said.

From appraisers I've talked to, it is the worse year since 2010. But evaluators, that appears to be the best year they can remember. Another friend is threatening to drop her license and go into the evaluation business.

2 really bad months, a normal month and an excellent month in April. I met my monthly goal by the 12th. Several old clients coming out of the woodwork and willing to pay my fees now. Not trash work either.

VA appraisals have been good. I have three to start next week with and will most likely get four more next week. I am going to have to work this weekend dong final inspections on three so I don't get behind.

My father and brother have also reported good VA workload.
Thanks for the feedback.

Refi's are down because of higher interest rates, sales are strong, more new construction. Gross revenue is down 10%, but I'd rather have the time. With the tax reform changes, net should actually be 10% higher.
