YES...you will need to take the 2022-2023 USPAP 7 hour update before 06/01/2022. If you are confused call the NCAB.

Correction: I've just been told by a USPAP instructor in NC that the next Update course we have to take is the same as the last update course. Only upside to that is... we don't have to pay for books. With all the confusion about it, it might be a good idea to contact the Board yourself and check.
This is NOT CORRECT per the NCAB this morning.

Good morning,
Where have you seen online that we are accepting the 2020-2021 USPAP class? Board approval for that version expired 9/30/21. We currently have two sponsors approved with the 2022-2023 version (McKissock and ASFMRA).

Thanks,

I guess everyone already got this.

This email is to remind all trainees and appraisers that the 2022-2023 7-Hour USPAP Update must be completed, by May 31, 2022, in order for you to renew next year. Even though the Appraisal Standards Board has extended the 2020-2021 edition of USPAP for another year, there is a new 7-Hour USPAP course. The new course is available now and will require each student to have a copy of the 2020-2021 USPAP book, the 2022-2023 7-Hour National USPAP Course Student Manual and the 2022 USPAP Reference Manual. These publications can either be in print or digital. Students should check with their course provider to see if these books will be provided with the class or if they need to be acquired in advance from the Appraisal Foundation. Since there is not a new edition of USPAP, the Board is not selling USPAP books this year. For further information on the extension, and the USPAP course, please click here.

Board approved sponsors offering the USPAP Update can be found here.

Please email the board with any questions at ncab@ncab.org.
