Hey you guys!!!! On the NDC Data chart they use a LCR1YY code for the zoning classification, what does that mean? More important where do I go to find out what that means, and at where I would learn more about zoning. I am located in S. Cali...Thanks in advance

I am located in S. Cali...

might help if you posted.........exactly where.........:icon_idea:

NDC Data reports what the county has, which isn't always correct. Go to the city's website, see if you can look up the zoning. If not, you need to call planning. Then look at their muni/zoning code to determine what it means.

No Deeds Covered....random angles / measurements and wedgees

Mike I am in Orange county thanks

Is the property in an incorporated city with their own specific zoning ordinances or is it in an unincorported area of Orange County subject to county zoning?

PA isn’t always correct. Call zoning/planning department; see if they have GIS available for download. Most of the people working in the zoning department are usually very nice; they will walk you through the GIS if one exists.

C'mon just call it single family residential.:) Kudo's to you for wanting to get it right. Here's one I had recently;
C1A-The purpose of this district is to provide for a wide variety of commercial, miscellaneous service activities and residential uses, generally serving a wide area and located particularly along certain existing major thoroughfares where a general mixture of commercial, service and residential activities now exist. The district is intended for application in older developed areas of the City. The district regulations are designed to encourage a proportionate mixture of commercial and residential activity, to encourage the retention of existing historic and architecturally significant structures, and to encourage compatibility with adjacent or nearby land uses and the general character of the area.
The UW really liked this one and would not believe me even though I provided her with a link and a verification from the city zoning office. The last appraisal had SFR residential so I had to be wrong.
