Yes, stay away and take LA with you (hah). Calexit - Yes

When rich hipsters claiming to be liberals go into poor areas and gentrify them, the poor people in these areas can no longer afford to live there.

I can't count how many Bernie signs I still see in the previously poor turned rich areas. It is gross behavior.

I have a hard time believing there are many "rich" Bernie supporters. Not a one of them has the ability to do math that support his positions.

Jerry Brown today indicated whatever the Trump government does, California will be self sufficient to survive whatever will be curtail to us.
True, California will survive living in our own world. There's always news of people moving out of California but MORE people keep coming in - the poor, the homeless, the rich, the ambitious, the brave, the entrepreneur, the dreamer, the actor, the survivors. California is the land where in one generation, one can get out of poverty. I should run for governor.

California's climate fight could be painful — especially on job and income growth

Californians are likely to pay more for gasoline, electricity, food and new homes — and to feel their lives jolted in myriad other ways — because their state broadly expanded its war on climate change this summer.

The ambitious new goals will require complex regulations on an unprecedented scale, but were approved in Sacramento without a study of possible economic repercussions.

Some of the nation’s top energy, housing and business experts say the effort may not only raise the cost of staples, but also slow the pace of job and income growth for millions of California families.

Goodbye California, hello North Carolina!
