Wife got me an early Christmas present as I do like ergo keyboards....an Ergodox Ez in black with glow RGB. Got the tent option, wrist rests and the Cherry MX Browns.
First let me say the company is awesome. I've had a real person contacting me, asking for feedback and answering questions starting 2 minutes after placing my order. She's been following up every day since. Shipped from Taiwan in less than a week. Well packaged with sig required. They have customization and training available on their site which is very helpful.
Only issue I had is one dead key and no extras included. They do include some extra keycaps and tools, but at this price point I did expect a few extras keys included. I'm happy about their response tho.
There is a steep learning curve tho and this definitely may not be for everyone. I am not a super fast typer, but the linear keys do seem to improve my speed and have been getting faster quickly. The split allows changing hand spread which seemed to immediately improve posture. I do miss my numpad and haven't gotten used to switching layers yet. I wrote 1 report today with it and it didn't slow me down too much.
I will update as I get better with it
