Quick question. No gas to the house, UAD 1004C. Do I check the Other Box and type None or just type None without checking the box?

Thank you in advance.

Type 'None' without checking the box and/or add comments stating that there is no gas utility connected to the subject property or, if there is a propane tank say so. The idea isn't just to fill out the form. The idea is to present a report that is factual and clear.

It has been quite awhile since I have inspected a property with no gas or propane tank. This was for a home equity loan so the checkbook reviewer just passed the report when I did not get back to him with in the hour. Thanks for everyone's responses.

I appear to do it both ways and nobody seems to care.

It was the only thing that the third party reviewer balked about. You know that they gotta find something to pick at to appear to be useful. The report was for a non-secondary market home equity loan so I told them to just pass the report as is since it already sat in their review queue for six calendar days after I uploaded it and they had delayed the homeowners enough! They had already sent it through when I went looking for their reply.

That usually pops up if your client does an automated review and it tells you what to do.

No E&O flag for it with Total, but they are not consistent thruout the form. Under cooling you can check the "other" box and type none, but you will get flagged in the amenities section if you do it for those.

FTR I check the box and put "Bottled LP available" in the field
