Always curious to see what they are going to do with all those batteries when they're dead. How will they help improve the environment?
It will be a few years more before that can be answered since EV batteries have and expeted life of at least 10 years. But current recycling methods do not sound very environment friendly, smelting, chemical extraction.Always curious to see what they are going to do with all those batteries when they're dead. Sounds familiar. The gov't also encouraged and even mandated asbestos use in public/gov't buildings, schools, ships, subs, etc. Now they mandate its removal at the cost of many Billions of $ to building owners, school systems, etc.It will be a few years more before that can be answered since EV batteries have and expeted life of at least 10 years.
