Low appraisasl fee orders

This AMC keeps sending me this low $160 fee to do exterior appraisals for over 15 years. WTF.
I do preCheck and then request higher fee depending on difficult ususally at least 2.5X more but never get a response. Very Rude.
Are other appraisers accepting such low fees.
I might as well work at McDonalds.

I have said many times here. Break your habit of AMCs. There are many lenders who don’t use them. Find them. I did. Yes, it is hard but you have been in the business a while. Use your contacts to find lenders that either use portals or even better, order appraisals directly from you. You will be paid what you are worth and you can have more contact with the lender for issues and stips.

Begs the question.... why after 15 years haven't you learned to simply ignore the $160 appraisal requests from this Client?
