Low effort appraisers

Thanks for the info. I didn't know it was that cheap to get a domain on the cheap. I love cheap for good value.
Do check their renewal fee, namecheap seems to go up. Porkbun seems good despite the goofy name.

Another very important thing to consider when using the free gmail, comcast, aol, etc email addreses for official biz: they are mining your as well as your clients confidential data. When it's free, you know what they say: you are the product.

I wonder if USPAP has an opinion on that? The bar for the legal profession does.

I have a web site and web domain email. I get some work from my web site, but not really that much (1-2 a month). Many find my personal email way easier to type than my domain email. Lenders are not out doing google searches for appraisers. Individuals do, but most are just fishing. They don't need an appraisal, they just want to know what their house is worth.

Your smart with the tech stuff.
When I was working on Total on desktop and also on laptop, a popup said I'm not allowed to use the software without buying another license. WTF.
I'm not techie and though I use two monitors (one screen for appraisal other for AF), I wanted to see an old file on my laptop.
I don't like Big Brother knowing what I'm doing.
