If I were a consumer of appraisal services and I ordered an appraisal review and the review was assigned to a trainee...I would feel cheated and I would take my business somewhere else...

If I were a consumer of surgical services....and the trusted doctor told me that my complicated surgery was going to be performed by a trainee...I would take my business somewhere else.

How on earth can a listing be considered a sale?......by definition a listing is not a sale.....A reference from USPAP is not needed to figure that out. A horse is not a cow, .....you won't find that tidbit documented anywhere....

I almost didn't because I thought "I wonder how many times they've heard that". Then I thought "Well I guess one more time." Glad you got a chuckle.

T.J.? That's a name I don't recognize. Is that a "handle":new_all_coholic:

I'll buy a beer for whoever can identify the author of this
The name change announcement was closed so I guess I will put this here...

When I first joined I thought the idea of having to use your real name as your "handle" was a great idea. I think one using your real name keeps some sort of accountability to your posts. I liked the idea that people could not necessarily "hide" behind some odd or goofy name. Plus is had a more "professional" feel about it which is what we are striving to be in this ever increasing difficult profession. I am not saying it is a wrong thing, I am just saying I preferred and still prefer the other way. As for people getting their name googled, I can not imagine that a lot of people have a lot to say about with the lack of privacy on the internet anymore. It is the system we are forced to live in and at some point have to come to grips with it.

Just my two cents. I am not wanting to start a revolution nor looking for jeers from peers. Just wondering if anyone else shares the view. Thank you!

Me. All me!

Now where is my beer?!

I thought about it long and hard. And in reality I'm did that for everyone else not me. I mean I want to keep it informal and comfortable. To be honest all the Mr. Johns stuff was making me feel older than I am.

You just arn't going to cut me any slack are ya?! :icon_mrgreen:

So now...about that beer.....:drinking:

I even told the gentlemen (Wayne) that does the change I'm the same one that made that post, and HE didn't say anything, but you couldn't just let it go could ya?!

:new_2gunsfiring_v1:

:peace:

Plus I was a much different person then too.

MUAHAHAHAHAHHAAA!!! :rof:

I have no problem.

with the short names. Most of us know who is who, but all these new online trackers can be a bit much so I shortened mine, but I'm still Kevin McNamara.

I bought it for ya, so it's only fair for me to drink it for ya. :new_all_coholic:

Stick around. You'll learn that the more you think like me, the smarter you get. Eveyone can be like me if they would just try. :icon_mrgreen:

Dude, what is your avatar from? It's kinda creepy, in a fun cartoon way of course. :new_blowingup:

I've seen it under user CP, but I was wondering if it was from an actual cartoon.
