What's the process of obtaining a HUD key?

Issued by M & M contractors..

Thanks...but how do I get a key?
Do I call M & M contractors up and ask for a key?
Who is M & M contractors?

Ok...I know who M & M contractors is!
I still don't know how to get a HUD Key.

Whomever gives you an FHA REO order should get you a key. Often the Realtor involved controls the keys. The last time I had to pay $10.00 per set.

The M&M should be able to get you a number of a realtor in your area that can make you a set of keys. My M&M gave me the key code for the key if I wanted to get a locksmith to make one for me. I just called the realtor and had them send the set to me.

There should be a Realtor in your area that has all of the HUD listings for your area, Contact that realtor, you will need to fill out a form and you will get a key.

Did they e-mail you the key?

Might be two keys

M & M contractors use various systems but check to see if there is a padlock key also.

First Preston used a combination padlock and MCB who has the contract now in Montana uses keyed padlocks.

M & M contractors use padlocks on shed doors, garage doors, crawl space doors and sometimes the dwelling door if the door is damaged.

The M & M contractor typically supplies the keys.
