Scaled Scoring on the new exam?

The test is 165 questions with 15 being USPAP...the score sheet they give you says 150 though

Do they tell you which of the 15 questions don't count?

Just about every test out there throws in some "dummy" questions that may or may not be used on future exams.

Although the test contains 165 questions, only 150 are counted. The remaining questions are special questions that are given to see if they are appropriate for the test level.

My questions is... do the 15 special questions count in the score or not?

The new test are designed based on the 2008 criteria and according to the Appraisal Foundation it is possible that some taking the new test in states that adopted the 2008 criteria using the segmented approach will not have been exposed to all of the education upon which the exams were based.

I just took the AR exam in CA last week from AMP test provider and got a failing mark with NO SCORE. The fail report suppose to provide score. I only got the % correct on each categories. After my review I found out I got 120 correct answers out of 165.

I called AMP regarding my score. They don't want to talk about it and pretty rude. I don't think this is right.

Does the 15 pretested questions automatically unscored from the computer? Does our correct answers credit toward to the 150 questions? I really want to find out how the actual breakdown calculations?

I don't blame them for not talking to people regarding the test scores. It's not part of their job. The test instructions state that the 15 pretested questions are NOT included in the score.

LOL, I rarely have to...

And I'm not overly uptight about it, we all have typos, a misspelling or two, and forget to capitalize or forget a period...but when your grammar is so bad that a whole sentence is written and not one thought is actually expressed, I can't take it.

So if you are not on FHA List and you are only licensed, you will not be able to do FHA appraisals after the 1st of the Year? You have to be certified? Will it pointless to even be Licensed at that point?
