No more MLS Photos

I'm glad you find that funny. That's a typical cliche cold hearted chat site responce.

My friend was injured and traumatized by the incident.

We were all just glad all he got was a cracked tooth, fat lip, and loss of a few bucks. It could have been much worse.

I feel bad for you my friend. You obviously don't understand the dangers some areas have when it comes to strangers stepping out of a car.

I do not wish you harm but someday your casual bravery is gonna get you into a situation you wish you never stepped into. I just hope all you get is a cracked tooth and a fat lip.

Lighten up, Francis.

I meant no disrespect to your friend and I wish you no harm whatsoever!

Unless the driveway is posted, I'd drive up and take a photo.

So trespassing laws do not apply unless a sign is posted? We can agree to disagree on this and you can continue to drive up someones private driveway and snap a photo and take your chances not only with the law but with an angry homeowner.

You advocate breaking the law or dancing on the fine line between legal and illegal. I'm not doing that and that does not make me less an apprasier for it.

I'll have my parole officer contact you!! (didn't heed my advice on apostrophes--just trying to help).

I, also, think it's time to end this rant. Just for the record, there are several free spell checkers available on line. I use mine all the time as I am not a great speller either. That said, lets put this puppy to bed.

Our local MLS (REIN) has stopped using a photographer to take photos of any property. They are using or will use digital photos taken by listing agents.

So, if the MLS does not have the photos taken, only uses those supplied by agents, are they still considered MLS Photos? If they are not considered MLS Photos, then would their use violate a lender/clients prohibition against using MLS Photos?

Just asking for your opinion:shrug:

this could be a good thing. my local MLS gives you the option to use an old to much older, think year 2000ish stock photo or upload only. so you have no option to make the MLS photographer take a new photo. this seems to force the agent to take photos to properly market their properties.

Hey, we're just entering the "Airing of the Grievances" portion of an early spring Festivus thread.

I for one enjoy the insult phase.

Really? So I misread your reply to that anecdote indicating he should cross the street the next time he runs into girl scouts?

Nah, no disrespect there.

. I could care less if I flub a word on a chat site and can assure you my reports and other professional communications are much, much better.
"I could care less" vs. "I couldn't care less"

The Question Ends Here

When one usually states "I could care less", they usually mean "I could not care less". [e.g. "I could care less about linguistics."]
In order for one to "care less" about a subject, they must first care about it somewhat. Saying "I could care less about ... " does indeed imply, nay dictate, that there is some degree of care.
I've put together a handy chart to help visualize...
caring.png

It can easily be seen that, in absolute terms, there is no caring at the zero marker. It is impossible to care less than that amount.
Let us use a different example...
  1. I could have less food.
  2. I couldn't have less food.
Which statement above means "I have at least some food", and which means "I don't have any food"?

Noah, no disrespect there.

You should read these posts more carefully.
