Are Churches Commercial Influences?

I'm not a coward, I'm just not as stupid as you Mr Hurlock.

Then why don't you post your real name while insulting others? The only reasonable conclusion is that you must be a coward.

And I've been called worse than stupid. How's my skin holding up?

It shows to be kinda thin there snowflake. I prefer to post under a pseudonym for many reasons. Pizzing folks like you off is just icing on the cake so to speak.

:rof::rof::rof:

the potential negative influences of a church or a school adjacent to a dwelling has nothing to do with Cert 17 and nothing to do with the church's denomination. If parking lot lights are impacting the dwelling or traffic/parking is impacted by church services, whether the church is Catholic, Protestant, Muslim, or Druid is irrelevant.

You maintain I insulted you following your post where you accuse me of cowardice? Now that is funny! Your sense of logic is seriously flawed and your outrage seriously misplaced.

Having a bad day?

Pete whoever,

focusing on the church while ignoring other potential influences may very well be a violation and I bet any good lawyer could at least win a settlement with that information.

making fun of me for being offended to comment about a religious gathering place is offensive to me.

If you were more considerate rather than your typical rude replies, you might understand why that is.

I almost can't believe I am still in America.

My day is just fine. Thanks for asking.

You don't bother me one bit.

Admitting you post under your alias to insult others is obviously bothersome for you though.

If you find humor, sarcasm, and being made fun of offensive, better gird your loins for regular sheet storm of hilarity every time you post.

You seem wound a bit too tight.

Why don't you take a walk down to Lewes Beach and collect up the used condoms and hypodermic needles to blow off some steam?

The AF is constructed such that anyone with five spare minutes and half a brain can figure out the identity of most any other poster, anonymous or not.

Those with less than half a brain may take longer.

You are assuming anyone would spend five minute to find out who you are.

I see a pattern emerging here. The same anonymous posters stalking and insulting others on a regular basis.

I wonder what illness inflicts them. It's certainly not the desire to be helpful.

What sick type of person would gain enjoyment from such a post on this public forum?

I wonder if this worthy of complaint to the moderator?

Lets find out!

Failure to address any and all potential influences on your property will be the biggest problem. Again, the denomination of the church is irrelevant--the influence of its presence on property values is a potentially valid consideration--may have no impact whatsoever! If the adjacent property is in dreadful condition, it may have impact on the subject--doesn't matter if the occupants are Mormons, Muslims, Druids, etc. The same goes for the church.

I tried to be helpful and was insulted by you! You apparently don't want to hear that the reviewer may have been 100% correct insofar as an adjoining church could impact the dwelling. I believe the reviewer wasn't telling you to label it as a positive or a negative influence as much as he simply wanted you to address it--there's a helpful hint for you. Address everything that could be relevant otherwise you will receive other similar requests in the future. Trying to be helpful but your thin skin and skittish nature won't permit it.

Can't we all just get along...

A reviewer is looking at overhead maps. There is more scrutiny on appraisals than in the past, some of it knowledagble, others, not so much.

Besides our own judgement of what and does not affect value, UW are trained to look for anything beyond the standard, the norm, which in a residential area, means they want to know the influence of anything not residential, a school, a church, a store, etc.

Though it may be obvious to us that it has no impact on MV, they need to justify greenlighing the appraisal , so good to explain in advance.
