Being Seriously Dinged For Not Including The Refrigerator

I've noticed Request for Reviews frequently throw in everything, including the kitchen sink. The realtor or buyer goes thru your report with a fine tooth comb, which is mostly irrelevant. Knock down the fluff and respond to the real issues....."why did you come in low."

No, not built-in, yes FHA, no, not the only item. 4 pages of complaints, I believe from the agent based on the verbiage. Some of the comments are right-on and it is a wake-up call to remember to go over the report once completed to ascertain all was done correctly.

Well there you go. USPAP says we must not make a series of errors.

A well-written report that is BS will pass easier than a poorly-written one that nails it. LOL. Read through comments on this forum for examples!

No fridge lasts 30 years

Probably no modern fridge but...

We bought our fridge when we bought this house in 1982, still going strong 35 yrs. now.

Our built-in microwave is a Panasonic bought in '84.

Gas water heater is original to home from 1972.

They just don't make things like they used to. :)

Grandma bought a refrigerator back in the late 20's/early 30's. one of those that looked like an ice box but had a large round coil and compressor unit on top. When Dad finally moved back to,the farm in the mid 70's, the thing was still running as good as new, only repair was replacement of the switch.

Try doing that with a modern refrigerator.

Our Westinghouse 50's-era refrigerator is still going strong without any maintenance. It has been running constantly since we bought it new. Who can complain about 60 years of service?
