It's kind of wierd how when it forks the value for the original doesn't change but all of a sudden there is value in the forked coin. It's almost like money was created out of thin air. I am trying to wrap my head around what that is about.

And today its $6500. I'm sure Bigboy sold at $7200 and bought back at $6500.

I think I know what Big ol boy is up to.

Wonder if next black swan event is caused by a huge Wall St. firm going under on a Bitcoin bet on top of 2019/20 retailers refi Armageddon?

You have futures on bitcoin starting up next month, then next year a huge Wall St. firm going live with an ETF. Derivatives will follow.

And you now have (relative to time) real Wall St. traders in there with arbitrage plays or selling off bitcoin and then buying bitcoin cash etc. against millennial or newbies that have no idea what they are doing.

Be interesting for sure.

Be cool if it crashed and just "fork it" just kidding, didn't really happen.

I totally agree Bitcoin is in pre-ipo stage aka akin to private stock. This month futures start trading on it. I still say it will be in private mode. Next year an etf rolls out. That will be its ipo moment.

I don't see any reason it doesn't go to say $25,000 a coin before going to $100

Bitcoin is going to be an asset class. Think digital gold. Gold isn't worth anything. But people make it be. Same with Bitcoin, it's virtual gold/silver asset class.

I have no beef with it just like no beef with gold. I don't get gold and has $0 value to me. Same with Bitcoin. It will go to $25,000. I don't get it and it's worth $0 to me. So will chose not to own it just like I've never owned gold or silver. But for those who like it, I love that's it's available as an asset class for them.
