Why is a pharmacist limited to Walgreens ? A pharmacist can work in a hospital, clinic, many places...it's a tough degree to get.

Many are migrating the hospitals. Walgreens purchased Rite Aide and are closing most of the stores. More unemployed pharmacists.

I know several pharmacists and they hate working retail. A few left retail and went to work at FDA. Compensation is less but they said dealing with customers when working retail is not enjoyable.
