Timeframe for VA reinspection- Colorado

The VA timeliness requirement for appraisals also applies to repair inspections; there is no other written guideline that I am aware of. However, as we know there is an impending closing, we try to complete the repair inspection as quickly as possible. Properties that are "a ways out" may take longer to get to, but the inspection should never exceed the timeliness requirement.

Good luck!

Thank you. That widens our potential close window quite a bit if they have the same timeframe

Lincoln County CO
I always wanted to go to Punkin Center, CO...and I finally made it there last fall. But it was too crowded. :rof:
Yep and final inspection shouldn't take long. The appraisers drive time may be longer than the rest of the wait.

Lol!

Punkin Center, there was a pretty bad accident one time we went out that way, we were looking at a property out in Karval CO that day. That’s quite the middle of nowhere :)

the middle of nowhere
I worked all over the state as a uranium and petroleum geologist for 20 years, and my father's family lived in SW Colorado but didn't have any reason to go thru there but coming up through Rocky Ford, I decided to that the road less traveled as Robert Frost might say, up to Limon, then over to Parker and into Denver Metro. Unlike a lot of people who think the high plains are boring I am one of those who enjoy traveling regardless the terrain and I find the whole area from Big Bend to Canada to be very interesting and very diverse and wildlife there is visible and abundant if you are prone to such interests. And as a hay producer, I am always fascinated by the big equipment of the plains.

I live right in the middle of that exact road less traveled from ;) there’s a sign outside of Limon on I70 telling people to take the scenic route into Denver via hwy86, the main road running through my town we’ve lived in up until we get the new place. It’s a pretty nice stretch of road with amazing views, but I’m partial :)

Phx RLC has it at 2 business days, I have seen it in writing before but its not on the typical fee sheet on the website.

It is clearly and specifically stated as 48 hours in their Appraiser's Handbook.
