An opportunity to assist Fannie, why resist?

Dear Valued Appraiser,
ValueNet, a division of The Accurate Group, has the honor of being chosen by Fannie Mae to take part in their 1004p pilot program in July 2019. You are currently on the ValueNet panel for our desktop products. We would need to know if you would like to complete the 1004p product as this is a new panel you would need to be added too.
Also, Please let us know if you would be interested in completing the actual inspection. Groundworks is recruiting appraisers to assist with pilot as well.
What is a 1004p? A 1004p is exactly the same as a typical 1004 with the exception of the scope of work text.
Who is inspecting the property? GroundWorks, a Division of Accurate Group.
The inspection report will be delivered to Fannie Mae. Then Fannie Mae will make the decision if an appraisal waiver can be utilized or not.
If not, the information obtained in the inspection report will be used by an appraiser to complete a 1004p on the subject.
As the industry is evolving it is important that we support the needs of our clients. We are very excited to be a part of this opportunity with Fannie Mae and look forward to working with you.
If you would like to be a part of this pilot program please reach out to one or both depending on your interest.

Some may not be aware, but ValueNet has been providing "hybrid" appraisals for over 10 years. Of course, those have not been on the 1004P, but they are certainly not new to doing "hybrids."

tell them you are interested at least to find out the fees being offered -
though what I know of this company they are low pay for their other products...which may not determine fees for the 1004P from but at least shows it from this one company

What is the 1004p? It's exactly the same as the 1004.... lol, no kidding.

I got the same email too. I've never been on their panel or ever heard of them. Sounds like they aren't getting anyone bighting. And for good reason.

This sounds like being excited because you've been given the honor of tying the knot for the hangman's noose that will be slipped over you head.

AF ...search. Posted a thread. $45, $55 depends on what they order.
I have not seen any Forms with a Fee @ $100 or higher. BUT what is the Fee & for which side of the Hybrid.

Dear ValueNet, a division of the Accurate Group,

Please send me a copy of the certifications/limiting conditions that are part of the 1004p. If needed, can I make additions or changes to those pages? Will the requests you send be limited to the areas in which I am geographically competent? How much is the fee that you are offering?

We are the Borg. You will be assimilated.

We get it. These have been done for a while. But you have to see the difference in what is happening now as compared to these being done "for the past 10 years." There is a monumental shift in our industry right now that will replace most residential appraisers. The hybrids done over the past decade were only a small percentage of loans. This will drastically change over the next 6-8 months.
