Not really news good or bad although I think the numbers will continue to drop as who in their right mind would take on a trainee when the majority of business is AMC work? There is no joy in AMC work.

Curious, what were trainee numbers 2 years ago?

Everything dropped except trainees

So the net loss among fully licensed/certified was 107 heads, which is just shy of 3.5% over 2 years.

It doesn't look to me like the great state of North Carolina is in any danger of running out of appraisers any time soon.

57 dead and only 3,496 left to go :)

The real story is 50 more NEW trainees in this 2 year time frame that the last one. It appears some would say the appraisal business is a great occupation to join. If 57 left and 50 new ones came in it would appear to be a stable market for appraisers....until they start looking for a Supervisor.
