master bedroom

I've only used it a couple of times when I was still a newbie. Regardless of the tone, it just seemed a silly and redundant description for the larger bedroom with it's own bath.

Well you were Woke before most of us guys- we are just getting aboard the woken train :)

Next time I have to work on my car brakes I sincerely hope that I don't offend anyone's sensibilities when I ask the guy at the counter for a new Master Cylinder.

And I'll be sure to purge my garage of any Master Locks.

Then I'll have to dispose of my Masterbuilt smoker.

The real pain will be going thru my old elec engineering textbooks and censor them by crossing out the terms regarding Master-Slave circuits or controls.

Its going to be a busy weekend but I'm sure it will be worth it in the long run.
In the past I would have considered this to all be a big joke, but today I would not be surprised to see a Master Locks name being changed - To a Main Lock, A Main Cylinder, A Built Smoker etc.- This is becoming like George Orwell's book.

It's all doubleplusgood to me.

Where have you geezers been? I stopped using that offensive word 30 years ago. I call it "large bedroom" which is more appropriate.
Before you geezers start criticizing me, look deep inside yourself and ask yourself why you still call it when you can easily just call it "large". Period.

i like to use terms that offend Chief and Cali appraiser(s). Si Senor.

The term “master” is used primarily today as a relational term that designates that a bedroom is connected internally to a private bathroom.

What about that 5 or 6 bedroom house where very bedroom has a bath inside?

What about the thing that a master cylinder controls? Is there another name for the slave cylinder?
