Moving to Seattle

I hear Seattle is a nice place, if you don't mind lots of rain.
What is with the state versus state hate here lately?

What state hate are you seeing? Seattle is a city. :) Sorry, I wouldn't want to live in a city that allows and even encourages the blatant criminal offenses we have seen in the last couple months. And I add Portland to this list as well. I've been to Seatlle. It was beautiful. But it isn't today. Hopefully it gets back to where it was.

You should probably not waste any more valuable time asking for opinions here And move immediately to Seattle. Sounds like you will fit right in
The only appropriate way to use a capitalized word is it's a proper noun, or followed by punctuation. If you mean that I would fit in there because I am properly educated and know how to construct a grammatically correct sentence, and act like the college-educated professional that I am, then congrats on your intuition. You are correct. Thanks so much for the support from my fellow, equally-educated colleagues. : )

The only Kentucky hate I have ever seen is from Louisville fans. Around basketball season. I am a fan of neither, so it don't bother me.

Fixed it for ya
Haha did I strike a nerve with someone from SC who is afraid to post photos of themselves on even a professional website? I wonder why. Where did you go to college btw? If you had, they would have taught you to end a sentence with punctuation. ; )

Thanks for replying with a productive response, unlike many of the ignorant people on here. The entire purpose of this site is to gain insight into your profession. If you are bullying people for trying to gain knowledge you are encouraging ignorance and incompetence.

Also, you are clearly a troll and a cyber bully. I doubt you would have the confidence to speak that way to people in person, you coward.
@CarolC84: I wouldn’t take it personally, I think he just puts “LMAO” after everything. Not sure why. Seattle and the surrounding area is great, I was just there in early March, just as Covid-19 was evolving. Mountains, ocean, big city, etc. Saw a great concert at WaMu theater for a band on their first tour date for a 24 date world wide tour (The Strokes), which was their last date due to C 19.

I would focus on licensing, see what requirements are, see what reciprocity they have with Kentucky (if any), and start to chat with some local appraisers and realtors to get a handle on the market. Obviously, they are going through tumultuous times there, like my city; does not mean there is no demand for good appraisers willing to work hard. Scope it out.

I 'believe' the crazy assertion is WHERE you are moving, not WHAT you will be doing when you get there.

With all the people that will likely be moving OUT of Seattle in the coming months, I am sure you will be quite busy. You may even get a steal on a home. BTW, hope you can take care of yourself well, don't expect much police protection.
Well it's difficult to discern what was intended when a blanket, bullying, grammatically incorrect remark was all that was made. And actually a lot of people are moving out, but even more are moving in from areas like California to avoid income taxes, even more inflated home values, etc.

Why would you assume I am not licensed there and haven't been there? I'm fact, I am licensed there and have been there. So who's making the assumptions? Clearly the prior was autocorrect dum dum.

Did you forget the period at the end of your sentence? Also, I know that y'all do confuse an opinionated, intelligent woman with a crazy person. Understandable as you have no women, or men, who fit that description there. : )
