In town style meeting today, Biden said he wants to give a $15,000 tax credit for first time home buyer (first time I heard about it).
That's nice but won't really help here when most homes are over $1,000,000.
Also, there's low inventory and so it won't help buyers.
I'm working on some purchases and read first time buyers "pleading" with heart warming letter with their offer.
I'm very sentimental for young families starting out (been there and it's hard) and I don't see tax credit in helping more young people in buying a home.
Increase the supply of homes for sale or educate them to high paying jobs are better solutions.

Biden's previous time in the White House indicates he doesn't know to increase home ownership.

I would rather have 40 acres like on a diamond farm or like Beverly Hillbillies had on their land.

I'll take mine in Manhattan with Eva.

Helping someone get into a home they cannot afford is the opposite of helping. There is a book called "When Helping Hurts"....Sometimes you are not helping, only creating a dependency.
