They can all start looking for jobs at the GSEs, TAF, and AMC “chief Pocahontas appraisers.”

And rightfuly so, what have they done for appraisers? All they care about is the meaningless designations to collect fees. Look what is happening to CA appraisers. We all need to step up & have a peaceful rally to white house & explain that we the appraisers have our rights taken from us day by day, the industry became a laughing stock when AMCs took over in 2007, and now we have to sit in fear that someome can file a false comlpaint for appraised value? how long will we allow this to go on?

The biggest problem for appraisers is lock of motivation, many think 'it's not in my backyard, my state is good etc' but it is commimg to your state too, not if, but when. The only solution is peaceful rally, there is no other way. The sooner appraisers understand this, the sooner we can take our rights back.

I bailed on them a decade or more ago. Wasn’t getting anything for my dues. No support. Actually worked against residential appraisers.

The same can be said about this forum. 78,759 Members. Pretty "Misleading" to coin in appraisal terminology. I venture a guess that 75% have retired or are dead from old age. Time to update the membership list. Active members that post ~100.
