Yeah. We sure gotta watch out for those people with a well developed sense of right and wrong.

And BTW-Falwell sure built an impressive university out there in the boondocks of central Virginia.

And by the way-I am from a medical family. Those of my immediate kin who practice/practiced medicine were often awe struck when a patient recovered despite being at the threshold of death, and who could only describe those recoveries as miraculous.
Any time a medical professional invokes deities to explain what happens to a patient who recovers from their treatment by describing it as "miraculous" it is just a happy expression of their lack of understanding of the curative powers of the human body.

And religious bigotry, happy to condemn people that disagree with them as blasphemers & heretics. And teaching their children that those people have "souls" that shall suffer eternal torment in the afterlife for disagreeing with their teachings. Fine bunch of people with an admirable sense of right versus wrong.

So would the word "unexpected" make you happy. I suppose that if someone uses the word "Xerox copy". You would insist that it had to be done on a machine made by "Xerox" to be called a "Xerox" copy.

Yes, I was afraid you were going to send me tuition for "Liberty University", where their version of religious liberty seeks to codify their beliefs into the law of the land at the expense of all others.

I give up. Your prejudice is insurmountable.

I have a hard time visualizing the size of that broad brush you continue to use. Must be exhausting using it so regularly. May I suggest a spray gun. Covers a lot easier

No, Peter was using the word "miraculous" to express the view that medical professionals believe God is busy intervening into the daily affairs of humanity. I'm happy that belief makes him happy however I think medical science should continue research into the subject and not rely on prayer (Unless all else fails then why not. Makes the person praying feel better anyway.)
