Good for you to always keep your hand extended in friendship in the hopes that it might gain converts to your cause. That probably makes you "dangerous" however you also make a good foil for testing arguments that are contrary to your beliefs. Kudos to you Sir! Like you, I have never blocked a single person on this forum and hopefully never will find the need to. (I do however have "Bert" on "emotional ignore" for his general surliness towards people he's in disagreement with).Well I do not believe in the new lefts cancel culture
There is not one single person who I have ever blocked on this forum

I love people commenting on politics and then saying that the issues that they are commenting on are "complex" and they don't know enough about them to comment on. But THEY DO know enough to insinuate that the current Ukraine tensions are all Biden's fault and the mainstream media is misleading us all. That's about par for the right wing news media. Here is another gem of an analysis of the current Ukraine situation from that raging "right-winger", Russell Brand:
And someone please tell Alsie that the next time he feels like "chumming the deep state waters" he should charter a craft appropriate for the task. The "emotional kayak" that he is fishing from is totally unsuitable for someone with barbarian blood pressure problems to go "trophy fishing" in and I would hate to be responsible for his demise.I just KNEW that bit of "chum" would bring you up out of the deep state water, Mike!!!
The reason I "ignore" people on the forum is to keep my own blood pressure down.
I will take Mike out of my "penalty box" when he has learned his lesson.![]()
I tried getting you to invest in my PAC with some of your crypto currency proceeds however you ghosted me. That was as close as I have ever come to getting paid for my important work here. Most of these threads invariably devolve into a "neoconservative witches coven" and some discordant notes sounded inside those RW echo chambers keeps them from getting too extreme. Don't let your beer get warm while you're pondering that.Paid agitators ..... in .... here ....
Those discussions are appropriately the sole, proper and appropriate responsibility of children's parents (or guardians, or whoever is responsible for the nurture of the kids). If you choose to analyze the history of sex education in the schools, you need look no further than the past forty years or so. Sex ed was driven to the lower grades, and was taught in a "values neutral" environment: i. e., "as long as everybody wants to do it, it's OK". Children in lower grades were taught how to properly use "protection". They have been taught that mutual consent is the only moral imperative controling sexual behavior. They have been taught that sexual intercourse has no emotional component. They have been taught that, should the techniques to avoid conception they've been taught fail, the result is not a child, but a "blob of tissue" or "product of conception" that can be disposed of as easily as can get rid of their Starbuck's styrofoam cup. We've excised the term "illegitamate", substituting "out of wedlock". This feces farrago is appropriately laid at the feet of every spineless politician who voted for any legislation that tended to erode the traditional family; on the constant attacks on people who have abandoned their children to the "professional" educators; and at the door of the arrogance of the education establishment that would co-opt the tpta; care and nurture of children.A Florida bill that would limit classroom discussions on sexual orientation and gender identity and encourage parents to sue schools or teachers that engage in these topics continues to move through the state House and Senate.
It's being called a "Don't Say Gay" bill by LGBTQ advocates, who fear that if this bill is signed into law, it could act as a complete ban on the lessons on LGBTQ oppression, history and discussions about LGBTQ identities.
"Every parent hopes that our leaders will ensure their children’s safety, protection, and freedom," the White House said in a statement on Tuesday.
"Today, conservative politicians in Florida rejected those basic values by advancing legislation that is designed to target and attack the kids who need support the most – LGBTQI+ students, who are already vulnerable to bullying and violence just for being themselves," the statement said. "But make no mistake – this is not an isolated action. Across the country, we’re seeing Republican leaders take actions to regulate what students can or cannot read, what they can or cannot learn, and most troubling, who they can or cannot be."

DeSantis-backed 'Dont Say Gay' bill sparks outrage
An anti-LGBTQ education bill has moved forward in the Florida state legislature.abcnews.go.com
The article linked details how a young gay student in Florida feels about this bill which requires the public school system to report their "gayness" to their parents. Those discussions are appropriately the sole, proper and appropriate responsibility of children's parents (or guardians, or whoever is responsible for the nurture of the kids). LBGTQ matters can and should be discussed with parents.
And as to parents not generally being trained in reproductive and gender matters, and the "professionals" being the only ones capable of teaching such - again, the persons most capable of teaching children is their parents.

Late last year, the final data for 2018 were published here (the key is Table 9 on page 25), and here’s what we learn: For all racial and ethnic groups combined, 39.6 percent of births in the United States were out-of-wedlock (incidentally, isn’t that appalling?). And there was as always a tremendous range among groups. For blacks, the number is 69.4 percent; for American Indians/Alaska Natives, 68.2 percent (Native Hawaiians/Other Pacific Islanders were at 50.4 percent); for Hispanics, 51.8 percent; for whites, 28.2 percent; and for Asian Americans, a paltry 11.7 percent.
From out good friends at Brookings
Since 1970, out-of-wedlock birth rates have soared. In 1965, 24 percent of black infants and 3.1 percent of white infants were born to single mothers. By 1990 the rates had risen to 64 percent for black infants, 18 percent for whites. Every year about one million more children are born into fatherless families. If we have learned any policy lesson well over the past 25 years, it is that for children living in single-parent homes, the odds of living in poverty are great. The policy implications of the increase in out-of-wedlock births are staggering.
All the posturing by the LGBQL folks to the contrary notwithstanding, the societal effects of this have been catastrophic. Taken with overall denigration of the value of human lives,
