The tip came from another fomite.
Unlicensed property data collectors create substantial liability for lenders. According to the Veterans Administration
The largest AMC hired a convicted felon named Paschal Uchendu as a property data collector. This occurred while Mr. Uchendu was awaiting sentencing for orchestrating a $1.2 million armed robbery of a courier van, which he was employed to secure. Cases like this one (and others) raise concern that criminals, convicted or otherwise, will use property data collections as an opportunity to "case" homes for robbery, sex crimes, and other criminal activity. This creates liability for lenders, the GSEs/taxpayers, homebuyers, and others who order and rely on these products. Licensed appraisers and their trainees who are bound by ethics, vetted and background checked by their respective states should be used for all property data collections going forward.
So now, the gang of six that the GSEs gave control of these products is hiring strong-armed felons as property data collectors. One more “conspiracy: theory comes to fruition. I wonder what the shills on the forum will come up with now. The spin cycle is going to be out of service soon.
