A Dutch appeals court on Tuesday overturned a landmark ruling that ordered energy company Shell to cut its carbon emissions by net 45% by 2030 compared to 2019 levels, while saying that “protection against dangerous climate change is a human right.”​

The decision was a defeat for the Dutch arm of Friends of the Earth and other environmental groups, which had hailed the original 2021 ruling as a victory for the climate.​

Every member of this fringe group should be banned from using a gas-powered auto and have the gas and electricity cut to their homes.

More EVs in China than here.
China was fortunate to have wireless than spending on landlines. With wireless, internet can be widely use. Should do that here.

All of those evs powered by electricity that is mostly generated using fossil fuels. As far as internet goes. The landlines in the U.S. were already there. Wireless has limitations. Line of sight being one of them as well as the power output of your wireless transmitter. They do have limits. wireless systems require "repeaters" unless you satellite based systems such as Starlink.
