Prices going up

Trump downplays business concerns about uncertainty from his tariffs and prospect of higher prices

When questioned whether he was expecting a recession in 2025, Trump responded: “I hate to predict things like that. There is a period of transition because what we’re doing is very big. We’re bringing wealth back to America. That’s a big thing.” He then added, “It takes a little time. It takes a little time.”

DIDN'T WE HEARD THAT WORD - TRANSITION - BEFORE? WHY AREN'T MAGAS COMPLAINING ABOUT INFLATION AND IT WILL TAKE A LITTLE TIME?
Trump's solution to high prices (and a looming recession ) is that he instructed congresspeople not to attend town meetings full of angry constituent Republican voters. And stoke a little more resentment about trans people using a bathroom. Cause, ya know, the random chance someone will encounter one in a bathroom is of far greater concern than price, infinity, and mounting job loss.

so the random chance for some innocent kid to be violated is ok with you. Sick....

Paid $2.68 for gasoline yesterday. Guess what the price of gas was in 2006? With OPEC announcing increases in production levels, it's likely to stay low for the foreseeable future.

Stock market today: Dow sinks 900 points, Nasdaq plunges 4% in worst day since 2022
US stocks plunged on Monday as investors processed growing concerns about the health of the US economy after President Trump and his top economic officials acknowledged the possibility of a potential rough patch.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average (^DJI) fell nearly 900 points, or over 2%, while the benchmark S&P 500 (^GSPC) dropped around 2.7% after the index posted its worst week since September.

The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite (^IXIC) fell 4% in its worst day since 2022, as the "Magnificent Seven" stocks led the sell-off. Tesla's (TSLA) rout continued, plunging 15% and officially wiping out the gains it had made in the wake of Trump's election win. Nvidia (NVDA), Apple (AAPL), Google parent Alphabet (GOOG), and Meta (META) all each lost more than 4%.

MY STOCK PORTFOLIO IS TAKING A BEATING. THANKS TRUMP.

who did you thank in 2022 when it slid? you must not have a good handle on how the market works (similar to RE-you got a good handle on it????).
corrections happen for whatever reason and then the bull starts charging again.
all I can tell you is you should sell out so not to worry too much.

Your question was "who" did you blame, not "what" did you blame.

Yes, Biden was blamed.......and so was Trump.
