So, I've been thinking of changing software and with Core Logic's latest email of adding fees per appraisal I'm really looking. Anyone have thoughts?

What do you mean adding fees per appraisal - is this for Total or other products (and if so, which products)?

Increasing assignment fee, uploading.downloading. Still better than AMC fee. Unfortunately, we not at a busy time to increase our fees. The corelogic fee has nothing to do with appraisal program, only appraisal port, mercury and whatever websites they bought.

How's the new fee structure work / look like?

Appraisal Port and Mercury are both order sourcing platforms that cut out the AMC, so it's reasonable to charge a fee as they bring work. Unlike the tech fees which order management platforms that the AMC/lenders select as their provider charge (and as the software's customer, should not be passing down fee to appraiser).

Rape by any other name ... then telling us to enjoy it ...and no, clients don't pay for the fee on Appraisalport - we get billed every first of them month ...

Which products are these for? (software/portal, not appraisal products).

I'm confused if this is for Appraisal Port, Mercury or something else.

Same

This fee is what it cost you to accept a direct lender appraisal on appraisal port, mercury, etc. There has always been a charge. Now i did see some time back that AMC could be using it.
It's for their web site portals, used by lenders. I don't see much of an increase, but it was never big enough to pay attention to.

That is the new fee upload list, broken down by report type, for Appraisalport.

Are there any other fees in addition to that for AP? Just improve my understand of all these systems.
