Core Logic's latest email about adding fees per appraisal..

No other fees for ap.

I've long thought about brining direct ordering to Appraisal Inbox (to bypass the crappy AMCs). Just not sure how to get the lenders on board (that's the tricky part).

The rich get richer.

It sucks, but it all rolls down hill and we're at the bottom. Increased portal fees. increased software fees, increased reporting requirements, etc. And the latest AMC demand making the rounds; Requiring appraisers to add ROV forms as addendums because AMCs and lenders are too lazy to follow investor requirements. What a mess this business is.

But now you're shielded and protected from the mortgage broker.

Do you like AP in general? Anything about it that sucks/could be improved (outside of fees)?

Been on it since 2008 with our main client ... and added a half dozen over the years ... all direct lenders (Corelogic AMC was the only AMC client we had on there - til that line of their business mercifully gave up the ghost and their main Bank client took us on direct  )

The only thing about it I would improve is to give the appraisers the ability to upload revised reports "sua sponte" instead of having to wait for a report to be "Rejected" ... because sometimes you upload and then instantly realize some little thing needs to be corrected on it :ROFLMAO: ... because no Superpower comes without drawbacks ... ;)
